Welcome
About Me
I am a political scientist and currently serve as
Head of Election Research at the Institute H21. I earned my Ph.D. at Masaryk University (CZ) and worked as a researcher at the University of Hradec Králové (CZ) and at the Institute for Evaluations and Social Analyses (CZ). My academic background also includes study and research stays at Central European University (HU), the University of Twente (NL), and the University of Piemonte Orientale (IT).

Research on electoral systems, electoral integrity, and the design and effects of voting rules forms the core of my academic focus. At Institute H21, I lead projects examining alternative voting methods and the practical functioning of vote recount procedures across Europe, while participating on the project dealing with cognitive and epistemic challenges facing modern democracy.

Between 2014 and 2018, I taught and assisted in various courses at Masaryk University, focusing primarily on elections, politics, and academic skills. Since then, I have occasionally delivered lectures on electoral topics upon request.

Alongside my research, I contribute commentaries, blog posts, and podcasts appearances on elections and democratic processes.
