Mgr. Ivan JARABINSKÝ, Ph.D.
I am the Head of Election Research at Institute H21. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Masaryk University, Czech Republic (2020). I worked as a researcher at the University of Hradec Králové (2020-2022) and the Institute for Evaluations and Social Analyses (INESAN) (2017-2020). I have also been a visiting researcher at Central European University, Hungary (2017), the University of Twente, Netherlands (2014), and an exchange student at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy (2009).
My research focuses on electoral integrity, electoral fraud, elections, democracy, and (de-)democratization. Additionally, in 2020, I successfully completed an international project supported by the International Visegrad Fund on the identities of the capitals of the Visegrad countries.
